What’s Coming Up On The CW?
I’ve been wondering what’s going on with the CW. It seems like there’s been a lot of repeats lately, so I have nothing new to talk about. So I went through the next two weeks to see what’s happening. This is what I found out.
This week, Monday’s shows, Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill are repeats. On Tuesday, 90210 is also a repeat, but Privileged is a new ep, the first season finale.
Wednesday is the same two episodes of the same two shows as Tuesday, only in the opposite order, with Privileged on at 8:00 pm. Thursday we get repeats of Smallville and Supernatural. Friday are repeats of Everybody Hates Chris and The Game, twice.
Then we come to the next week. On Monday, March 3, we once again have repeats of Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill. But, suddenly, Tuesday, March 4 arrives and we get something new. Reaper is back!!! It’s the second season opener entitled “Episode IV: A New Hope.” Yay!! I really missed this show while it was gone. I hope this ep lives up to the long wait. Reaper is followed by a repeat of 90210.
Excitingly, there is the two-hour premiere of Cycle 12 of America’s Next Top Model on Wednesday, March 4 at 8:00 pm ET. I’m excited about this show, cause I love it. Plus, my life will be sadly lacking in bad reality TV with the end of True Beauty and The Bachelor. Of course, I still have American Idol, but there’s just so much more drama when you throw a bunch of beautiful, skinny, yet vacant young women together into one house.
The rest of the week is sadly disappointing, with Thursday night repeats of Smallville and Supernatural, and a Friday night repeat of America’s Next Top Model.
So, while we don’t have lots and lots of newness, we do get new seasons of shows I really love, so at least there’s something to look forward to.
