Smallville hires Hidden Palms alumni

I said that Michael Cassidy’s character Cliff in Hidden Palms was like a wannabe Lex Luther, and now it turns out that Cassidy will be joining the cast of Smallville in the capacity of editor of the Daily Planet (from TVGuide online’s Ausiello).

The CW was born in September 2006, and inherited a mixture of programming from its parents the WB and UPN. The CW has a diverse line up from Monday night comedy to Friday Night Smackdown. In between the laughs and the wrestling are alternate reality or fantasy based shows (Supernatural, Smallville), ones that are fit to bursting with bright young things (Veronica Mars, One Tree Hill) and don't forget all the wannabes trying to make it in reality programming (The Beauty & the Geek, America's Next Top Model, Pussy Cat Dolls).
