I’m Going to NY Comic Con

main_header1. . . and I’m terrified. No, really. Well, I’m excited, too, but also pretty scared. I’ve never done something like this before, at least not all alone, and it is stressing me out a little.

I’m just so excited about who is going to be there. First of all, my all time fave person in the entire world, my hero and the person I would most like to meet, Joss Whedon. I’ve spoke of my love for Buffy the Vampire Slayer at least, oh, I don’t know, a million times, and I’m sure I made it clear that I think it’s the best show, ever. Period. The end.

So that makes Joss, the creator of the best show ever, the best ever show maker. Or something. OK, I’m getting confused. I’m just feeling so very giddy.

Also coming to the NY Comic Con: Milo Ventimiglio (Heroes), Jared Padalecki (Supernatural, Friday the 13th), Tahmoh Penikett (BSG, Dollhouse), John Noble and Anna Torv (along with most of the cast of Fringe minus Joshua Jackson), Eve Myles (Torchwood), Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak (Executive Producers of Chuck), Seth Green (what hasn’t he been in?), Amber Benson (BtVS). Plus, all these comic book people. (I’m a geek, I’m just not so much of a geek that I know all the comic booky people.)

Lots of other more random people will be there, too, like Lou Ferrigno (The Incredible Hulk), William Katt (Greatest American Hero), Robert Culp, Mark Sheppard (Firefly), Peter Mayhew (Star Wars).

Also, Anthony Forrest (Star Wars IV, Stormtrooper, “These aren’t the droids we’re looking for.”) Really, that’s what he’s known for, as being the guy who said that in a move over 30 years ago. But he’ll be there.

    I know, Marci, it’s getting more and more exciting. I keep checking the site, cause they keep updating it with more people. Jared is going to be signing autographs!

    I just love William Katt, too! I scared my husband one day cause I knew all the words to the theme song from The Greatest American Hero. ;)

The CW was born in September 2006, and inherited a mixture of programming from its parents the WB and UPN. The CW has a diverse line up from Monday night comedy to Friday Night Smackdown.
