Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog
Hard to believe, but I guess I never mentioned Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog in this blog. That’s just weird. I know I did several (dozen) blogs about it over at my FanaticSpace blog, but its possible most people who read this blog don’t read that one. Probable, even.
Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog was created by Joss Whedon and his completely insane family. No, really. It came to be during the writers strike and was first presented online in July as a web only serial in three acts. It stars Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day, with an assorted cast of sidekicks, including Simon Helberg, Drew Goddard, David Fury, Marti Noxon, Jed Whedon and his fiancee, Maurissa Tancharoen.
At first, you could see it for free that week, then you needed to purchase it at iTunes. Which, by the way, you can still do. For the time being - a little while anyway - you can see it for free at hulu.com.
I would strongly suggest, if you haven’t seen it, that you do. I watch it nearly every day, myself, which is why its so surprising that I never actually mentioned it here or even linked to it. I must be slipping. I’ve told lots of people and even sent them the links, and so far everyone, Whedon fan or not, has agreed that its funny. So now I’m telling you.
Please watch it while you still have a chance to see it for free. After that, you can buy it on iTunes, cause you’re gonna want it. I’m also excitedly waiting for the DVD and CD to come out.
