Beach Blanket Bingo
Yes, I’m still on vacation (although we haven’t played any Beach Blanket Bingo yet), but I did manage to catch a bit of a couple of shows this week. I saw about 5 minutes of Gossip Girl, and I just put together that Blake Lively, Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl, is Monica from Accepted. I’m not sure why that never clicked before, cause I love that movie and I’ve seen it like ten times. We just happened to watch Accepted earlier that night, and then I saw that little bit of Gossip Girl and suddenly I realized it was her.
I also saw a bit of 90210 - only a sec, cause I didn’t want to spoil it for when I see the whole thing - and noticed that they are encoring that tonight. If you missed it, you get another chance.
Finally, I saw about half an hour of America’s Next Top Model, right in the middle, cause we just got home from the Fair and I didn’t want to watch the Republican National Convention with everyone else, so I went in the other room and checked my email while I watched. I would have just watched it until the end, and then rewatched it next week, but my husband also grew weary of speeches, apparently, and came in the room and wanted to watch something else.
Clearly, I didn’t see much, but what I did see looked good, so I’m pretty excited about getting to watch all these shows and more when I get back home. I can’t wait.
