Awarding Hulu
Something interesting happened to me. I know that’s not normal, but sometimes things do happen. Really.
So here’s the what. It’s called the Hulu Awards, created and hosted by “The Hulu Man” at his blog,
The Hulu Review. What, you may ask, happened to me that has to do with these awards? Well, I’ll tell you. I’ve been asked to be a judge. Maybe this will be like the Acamedy Awards some day. Then I’ll be famous. Maybe.
Anyway, the way the awards work is, um, I’m not exactly sure. All I know is that I get an email with links to lots of shows set up in different categories, and then I vote for them. There are rules, don’t worry, it’s not all willy-nilly. In any case, you can also take part in these awards, because there are also polls set up for the final vote in any given category.
I’m going to be posting a few of the polls here in this blog and in my watchingsitcoms blog. Of course, of you are really interested in voting for all the categories, you can also do that on the Hulu Review blog.
This poll is for Best Dramatic TV Series and the nominees are Bones, Burn Notice, ER, Friday Night Lights and House. Those are all really good shows, although the only two I watch faithfully are Bones and House. And if I’m voting between those two, I’d go with House. Although, as I have said, many times, I miss the original cast members and their interaction.
Here’s the poll:
