90210’s Having a Heatwave
This week on 90210, Annie tells Ethan she is ready. Well, first, some other things happen.
Tabitha is trying for a part in a miniseries and, even in the midst of a California heatwave, she keeps turning the heat up to protect her throat. She and Debbie are very unhappy with each other at this point. Harry is pretty much refusing to get into the middle of it. And that makes Debbie even more unhappy. To make matters even worse, Tabitha surprises Annie and Dixon with a car, but, much to their chagrin, Debbie refuses to let them keep it.
Dixon starts getting less and less happy with with Silver and how she makes fun of everything. Including when she mocks Ethan and Annie saying “I love you.” He gets advice from Navid that the reason she behaves that way is because she wants to be told the same thing. When Dixon finally tells Silver he loves her, on the beach during a party, she doesn’t react the way he expects. They fight and Silver walks off angry. When she tries to talk to Dixon later back at school he’s very cool towards her.
Meanwhile, Naomi thinks that Adrianna is back on drugs and says something to her new friends, who spread the word around so that other people start picking on Adrianna. Naomi then feels bad and confesses that it was her fault. Adrianna is upset when she realizes that Naomi thinks she’s using again, and tells her the truth, that she’s pregnant. Naomi tells Adrianna she will be there to help her. Naomi then tells off her other friends, much to their surprise, for spreading rumors about Adrianna.
Adrianna then tells Navid that she is pregnant. He doesn’t take it too well and tells her he needs to think about whether he can handle it. This makes me wonder what the whole point of having him be in love with her really was if he was just gonna bail at the first sign of trouble.
To help Annie overcome her disappointment about the car, Tabitha gives Annie the keys to her Palm Beach house so she can go there and get away from the heat. Annie takes Ethan with her, they go out to a fancy dinner, and then she tells him she’s ready. But then Ethan has a change of heart, realizing that Annie is too special to him and they need to take it slower.
Debbie and Harry find out that Annie is at the Palm Beach house, so they head off to find her. But Harry finally stands up to Tabitha first, making Debbie happy. When they see Ethan’s car there, they are less than happy, and expect the worst. However, when they look through the windows, they see Ethan sleeping on the couch and Annie sleeping on the bed.
Basically, by the end of the ep, everyone is broken up except for Annie and Ethan.
