90210 Awakening
Alright, this was the fifth episode of 90210, and I have a question. It’s not about the show, which I’m still digging, but about imdb.com. I know they aren’t always on the ball at imdb, but who is Morgan? The first person in the cast list is Morgan played by Cherilyn Wilson, apparently in 12 episodes. Who is she? I just don’t recall a character named Morgan. Well, there is one on Chuck, but that Morgan is a guy and the show is on a different network. So I’m wondering.
In other news, 90210 has been given the order for a full season from the network. So that’s good, if you’re me.
I’d say this week’s ep was about choice. But first I wanna say, Spring Awakening? Really? Is that appropriate for a high school play? Fine, I’m old fashioned.
So, Naomi’s mother has to choose to get up out of bed and deal with her husband’s infidelity. Naomi’s dad has to choose between his girlfriend and his family. And Naomi has to deal with the fact that her parents are getting a divorce.
Annie is falling in love with Ty, and when he asks her to have sex with him after the play, she agrees. Ethan tries to talk her out of it, saying Ty is just a player.
Adrianna gets high right before the start of the play and Brenda won’t let her go on stage. So the lead goes to her understudy, Annie. After the play Adrianna goes to the party at the Roosevelt Hotel and tells Ty that she saw Annie with Ethan. When Annie gets there, she finds Adrianna in Ty’s room wrapped in a towel. Adrianna tells Annie that Ty is in the shower (not true) and then asks Annie if Ty told her to meet him there, too? Annie gets upset and leaves.
Annie then runs into Ethan who is all worried that Ty hurt her.
Silver and Dixon’s relationship takes the next step when she kisses him at the party and then leads him off so they can be alone.
There was also some stuff about Annie’s relationship with Ty when her dad caught them kissing backstage, but they decided that she’s smart enough to make the right decisions. Also, Brenda, Kelly and Ryan discuss the problem with Adrianna and her probably drug use.
All in all, it wasn’t the best ep to date, but it laid the ground work for some stuff in future eps, so I’m content.
